Chase

Chase is a husky who had an interesting condition called a mucocoele.

This is a strange large swelling under the tongue – caused by a leakage of saliva within the tongue itself. The treatment is actually to remove the salivary gland behind the ear – this is a tricky procedure and you can see the golf ball-sized gland being removed here intraoperatively.
