Burdie came to us with a fractured elbow. X-rays let our veterinary team see exactly where the break was and plan the best repair, and her leg was carefully splinted and bandaged to keep her comfortable in the meantime.
Under general anaesthetic, Burdie was closely monitored throughout her surgery. She then recovered in a warm, quiet kennel with her leg bandaged and a cone to stop her disturbing it while she began healing.
