Leon – 10 y.o. Labrador
Leon’s owners noticed that his belly had changed shape so brought him down for an appointment. We agreed that his abdomen seemed quite unusual so we xrayed him and were amazed to find an enormous structure dominating his whole tummy. We took him to surgery and found that it was an enormous cyst connected to his liver. Taking great care, Simon and his team were able to dissect the cyst out of the abdomen and remove the section of liver to which it was attached. The rest of his abdomen was amazingly normal. This is certainly an unusual case but the outlook for Leon is very good.
